De Paul has only joined Italian club Udinese on a five-year deal from Sampdoria earlier this summer, making his home in Udine his official base.

But the 29-year-old defender, who moved to Turin on a free transfer last summer, has not been able to win promotion to Serie A.

The defender is set to make his Premier League debut with United when he departs the club this morning.

De Paul joined the Toffees in 2015 as a youngster after 18 years at Parma.
