Police officers responded to reports of a stabbing in Stafford Street in Plymouth this afternoon.
Three men are being treated at the scene, with one in a serious condition after police arrived at the scene at 8.55pm.
A force spokesperson said: “At approximately 8.45pm on Wednesday, September 19, police were called to reports of a stabbing in Stafford Street in Plymouth.
“Officers rushed to the scene where they found one man who was being treated for serious injuries.
“He is currently in a serious condition.
“A third man sustained a broken arm and a single stab wound to the torso.
“Two other men, aged 17 and 25, were taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, where one of them is in a serious condition.
“A fifth man, aged 21, was taken to West Mercia Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.”
Police officers are appealing for information on all three men’s injuries as investigations continue.
