Although Ke’Lin Dillard worked as a professional writer and was an accomplished actress, she had a dark side and suffered from depression. She was a strong and loving mother to her children, who lived with Ke’Lin.

Starting when she was twelve, Lisa suddenly didn’t know how to focus on her primary needs as a mother, until her life was transformed by the magnificent ladies she had lost. Ke’Lin spent her last moments with her children—three of whom tragically died within a year—befriending them, showing them self-love, compassion, and the full humanity of God.

A woman for nearly two decades, Ke’Lin was a recipient of many awards and accolades, including the Bella Foundation’s honor for working with young cancer patients,”according to her daughter, Sara Dillard. “She loved her family dearly, and it was amazing to see her bond with her kids.”

Ke’Lin is survived by her mother, Cheryl. “She loved her children to the very end,” her daughter said. “She is not only my mother, but she will be missed.”
