Sacramento police are investigating the fatal shooting of an employee of a Sacramento motorcycle club. The owner of the Club Yucca called police Friday morning to report his brother and a friend were sitting outside of the clubhouse when a dark-colored sedan pulled up to the pair, according to a police news release. Shots were fired from inside the sedan. Three people, a 25-year-old man and a 31-year-old man, were struck. One died at the scene and the other two were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds. Authorities are trying to determine if they’re gang members or drivers. Police did not say whether the patrons were linked to the club. The suspects fled from the scene on foot. No arrests have been made.

Sacramento police declined to specify whether the victims were from the club or known to them.

The Sacramento Bee reported on Friday night that Yucca released a statement saying, “The owner of the Club Yucca and his family stand by his brother and friend Joe, and wish to express the sincere condolences and deep sorrow that is being felt by their family, friends and coworkers.”
